COURIER readers have voted The Railway Pub their top HX1 pub of the year.
Pubs across the town centre were heat one of the Courier’s Love Your Local: Pub of the Year 2012 competition - and the Railway Pub on Horton Street scooped the most votes to win the round.
Horizen Salik, of the pub, said:
"It’s fantastic news - it’s brilliant."
"There are some good bars in Halifax but it’s nice to know that our customers have voted us their number one pub in HX1."
"It’s a great venue here. Everything has been fully refurbished recently. We have a very nice clientele. It’s the place to be."
